The man who sold Viagra and Cialis at his home was arrested after authorities found a bag containing the drugs and an individual’s ID card that showed he was on one of the drugs.
A police officer then conducted surveillance of the man’s home and discovered a bag containing more than 200 pills and a prescription card, according to the release. The man’s arrest was based on suspicions he was on one of the drugs, police said.
The man’s home had been raided by the Food and Drug Administration in Los Angeles. The man’s arrest warrant was issued May 24.
“This is a very serious case and we will fight this one hard,” said U. S. Attorney Michael Cohen for the Eastern District of California, who is in charge of the case. “It’s very concerning that you’re being charged with a crime involving a crime and you’re being accused of a crime.”
